How often should you go to the dentist?

Regular dental cleanings and oral exams should be scheduled every 6 months. Preventive care appointments are typically covered by dental insurance twice a year.

When should my child have their first dental appointment?

Children should have their first dental appointment around the age of one or within 6 months of the eruption of their first tooth, whichever comes first.

How often should you brush your teeth?

We recommend brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing once a day. Brush your teeth once in the morning and once at night. Floss whenever it is most convenient for you. Try to avoid eating after you brush your teeth at night.

Should cavities be filled in baby teeth?

If a cavity develops in a baby tooth, we typically recommend filling it. Unless the tooth is ready to come out soon, a filling will last for many years until the tooth is naturally shed.

Do I need to go to an orthodontist for invisible braces?
